This is a special five-day, drop-off camp under the expert guidance of Chef Bárbara Santos-McAllister, Colorado Springs' leading instructor for authentic Mexican cuisine. Our young attendees should get ready for a delicious adventure in which they’ll learn to cook yummy Mexican treats and dishes from scratch! Each day we’ll dive into a new recipe while mixing, rolling, whisking and, of course . . . tasting! 

Monday: Sweet Tamale Party! (Tamales Dulces)

Let’s make tamales . . . but sweet! To kick-off the week, we’ll learn how to:

• Mix soft, fluffy masa 

• Wrap our tamales in corn husks (like little gifts!)
